Turbines and Wind Farms

Wind turbines were born in an age of simplicity. Now they herald an era of sophistication and high capacity that is transforming our landscape. This transformation led to the introduction of wind farms around the world and particularly in Europe. Wind turbines are naturally conditioned by wind power to harness electricity. They are a good source of energy for countries with significant wind power, and Kent County’s location on the Atlantic Corridor puts it in the enviable position of benefiting and having the potential to benefit even more from wind power. Hardly one day passes without wind or a gentle breeze that harbors some useful power and energy.

Turbines have progressed in shape and size. They are not necessarily the giant columns and pillars with giant propellers that we expect, but instead are now flat and funnel shaped to be suitable for installation on the side of a building or on top of a roof. Therefore, varieties are available to suit all needs. For a Total Environmental Solution (TES), a mixed combination of solutions is the answer, and at an early stage, we shall adopt the value for money solution that helps to reduce energy costs and move on to the next sophisticated phase. This gradual and comprehensive strategy is the way forward, since gas prices are so volatile. Many people do not realize that economic reality made the petro-dollar stronger, thereby weakening further the value of the American dollar and tipping the balance between energy prices, commodity prices, and manufacturing costs.

The estimate that wind turbines and wind farms require a significant investment of money and resources is false. Wind turbines are part of the solution, and they must be utilized when and wherever possible with other complementary sources. One possible solution to Kent County’s energy crisis is turbines and wind farms, both of which have already been proved successful in other parts of the country and the world. Graviton Dynamics is persistent and consistent in developing social and environmental capital and assets that relate to the urgent needs of Kent County. Wind farms of new types can be included in the wider feasibility study along with long term under-sea generators powered by tide and waves.

 

Micro-Wind Turbines

When all attention focused on giant turbines that form wind farms, Graviton Dynamics’ strategy shifted completely in the opposite direction, and the company started researching and developing micro-turbines for different applications. This shift heralded the era of “Micro-Generative Technology,” which enables communities and towns to achieve certain energy independence, as the example of several German towns and smaller cities promises. In most cases, this form of clean energy is ploughed back into the local or national grid, and the surplus pays handsome semi-profits, providing communal benefits for these small urban and rural communities and attesting to the feasibility of clean energy.

Graviton Dynamics defines micro turbines as those below 100 watts and up to 500 watts. It is a challenge to work with small capacities but multiplied by X, Y, Z, numbers to become substantial like streams forming a river or rivers. The chief factor is to develop this technology as an independent source or one combined with another, whether Photo Voltaic or hydraulic. It is also important to work with as little wind as 3 - 5 m/h speed, what qualifies, in other words, as low wind.

This technology is not widely developed and requires public education and professional training to prevent accidents to people and property damage. Enquiries are welcome while we are developing new products, the main components of which are PMG/PMA.

 

Solar Panels (Photo Voltaic)

Graviton Dynamics aims at putting all innovative technologies available to all publics anywhere in the world by informing, educating, and exchanging ideas. Solutions are a matter of following human consciousness and efforts to tackle global warming and natural disasters from a scientific and environmental perspective, pure and simple. Thin Film Technology (Silicon PV Cells)

It is the most sophisticated technology in the line of Photo Voltaic. We are accustomed to seeing solar panels on the roof of a building or on the side of a road or as simple signaling devices. Their use and application are countless, but Thin Film Technology is the smallest dimension of all the PV family, made of high grade silicon that is capable of generating electricity. Production is limited world wide because the technology is not widely developed. Thus, supply is limited, and demand is high.

Raw materials such as silicon are expensive. Other semiconductor materials are utilized, such as copper Indium Gallium Selenide or Cadmium Telluride. Improved thin materials can absorb several times the amount of sun that is absorbed by silicon, thereby giving it increased efficiency.

 

Sun Farms/ Sun Towers

The sun’s heat can be harnessed to generate massive energy, especially on sunny days and particularly in summer, when demands on the national grid are at their highest levels to power air conditioning and ventilation devices, whether for single devices, single zones, or multi-zones such as the facilities of the Kent County building. Sun farms are a state-of-the-art technology that even allows energy storage for cloudy days. This energy is starting to take strong hold in Europe by creating a special Pan-European grid to carry this new form of electricity. A mirror-based technology, it can heat water to 800-900F, which turns into steam capable of generating electricity in conventional power station turbines. Local governments and private enterprise can use some of its arid land to install all types of alternative and renewable energy sources. Graviton Dynamics is able to supply the expertise, installation, and maintenance of these new systems.

In November 2009 Spain has achieved an enviable share of 50% from renewable sources in its national energy production. One of the main contributors is the solar farm near Seville, Andalucia.

 

Mobile Sub-Stations, V-2-G

Graviton Dynamics research and development is aimed at building a new generation of EVs that also can act like a sub-station when the vehicle is parked, discharging its surplus energy in any designated location or building. For confidentiality reasons, we cannot elaborate on this new technology, pending further patent application worldwide. This solution, however, stands to revolutionize our perception of energy generation and is a state-of-the-art technology that will definitely benefit any location or environment in finding:
